Our plan is to leave the Tripoli Road Trailhead of the Mt. Osceola Trail between 7:30 and 8:00 and hike up over Osceola and then on to East Osceola. AMC Guide has this as 3 hours 20 minutes so all our group should be on top for noon!

Just curious but the event was this past Saturday on the 13th and not the 20th.
McRat who was on Osceola confirmed to me at the KOA that a flag was present on East Osceola however.

Sorry for the confusion... we were there on the 13th, I just left for camping on Friday afternoon (the 12th) before I finished posting the route so I posted it this morning. Some photos have been posted already with more to come and a trip report as well.
The flag was on the summit of East Osceola by on 9/13 by noon and was lowered at 2:00 as planned.
